One Artist Has Taken The Great Paintings Of All Time And Made Them Better…With The Help Of Her Cat

When Russian artist Svetlana Petrova‘s mother died, she inherited her ginger cat, Zarathustra. As a way to work through her grief and depression, she began using Photoshop to insert the cat into different classic paintings, and soon, a full-blown project had begun. From Dalí to Vermeer, this adorably chubby cat has joined the works’ subjects… and somehow made the pieces even better than before.
