While drinking soda isn’t exactly good for you, the Coca Cola company has come up with a way to make sure you can at least help the environment after you’ve finished a bottle of Coke. With the help of Ogilvy & Mather China, they’ve created sixteen caps that transform empty bottles into squirt guns, pencil sharpeners, paint brushes, and more. The campaign started in Vietnam to encourage recycling. While producing more plastic to reduce plastic waste might be a bit counterproductive, it’s still a pretty cool advertising campaign and definitely a nifty concept.
It may not be the end-all to plastic waste, but these cool caps are certainly a better solution than letting a plastic bottle sit in the ground for millions of years.
